DELEGATE BENEFITS, TERMS & CONDITIONS

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. the person signing or submitting the registration form must be authorized to accept all conditions as set out herein on behalf of those named for any booking.

1. Excel Tekay International Pageant

1.1 when you book for Excel Tekay International Pageant, your delegate registration fee includes:

• hotel accommodations (1 room)
• transportation to/from airport
• transportation to/from event venues
• 3 standard meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• 1 sightseeing outing in the city
• recognition in event booklet (headshot, name, title, organization)
• entrance to Excel Tekay International Pageant events

4 days – $3,750

2. Placing an order and our acceptance

2.1 When you register for excel tekay international pageant, the language that we offer to you for the conclusion of this process will be English only.

2.2 For online transactions you will be asked to input the details of your order, following your input of your order details you will be given the opportunity to review this information and confirm or correct the information prior to the completion of your order. you will then be asked to request an invoice or submit card payment details. we will then either process your payment via world pay or send you an invoice. we will send you confirmation of your order and a copy of these terms and conditions.

For all bookings (however received), submission of your booking is an offer which will be acknowledged in writing by email by Excel Tekay who administers the Excel Tekay International Pageant. acceptance of the booking will take place when excel tekay has received cleared funds for the pageant or received an invoice request and sent you confirmation of your booking. our contract comes into effect with you once we have sent you confirmation of our acceptance of your booking. we shall keep a copy of these terms and conditions, which are accessible to you upon request.

3. Use of personal data

Use of the data that you provide us, or which is collected by us, is governed by our privacy policy which can be found on our website at https://exceltekay.com/privacy/  in brief however should your booking be accepted, the information you supply on any registration form, will be used to process your request to attend Excel Tekay International Pageant, inform the venue and caterers of all delegates, create a delegate list of names for all attendees and lead sponsors and generally manage your registration and fulfill our obligations to you.

4. Prices and payments

4.1 The prices quoted do not include tax (unless otherwise specified), which shall be payable on all bookings at the rate of 8.25%.

Prices are valid for the relevant excel tekay international pageant and shall be valid for such period indicated and charged in the currency as specified on the booking form. for any delegates making payments from a bank account outside of the usa and where you are charged in dollars, your bank will convert the fee payable and the amount deducted will be subject to the exchange rate at the time.

4.2 Whilst we try to ensure that all of our prices are accurate, errors may occur. if we discover an error in the prices of the products you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. if you do not respond to our contact we will treat the order as cancelled. if you cancel in these circumstances and we have already processed your payment, you will receive a full refund.

4.3 Payments may be made through the methods specified above. where we invoice you, payment will be permitted via check, credit, debit card or bank transfer and shall be due as indicated on our invoice. we take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payments secure. unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to the information provided by you.

5. Cancellation, Alterations Losses and Refunds

5.1 Transfers from one delegate to another for the booked pageant will be permitted upon 5 business days written notice to excel tekay.

5.2 Cancellation charges, for contracted bookings, are follows:

– if written notice is received 90 days before the date of the event, your fee will be refunded in full, less $250  administration charge. this administration charge will not apply if you have cancelled your booking within 30 days or less after our contract comes into effect (see clause 2.2).

– if written notice is received within 89 days or less prior to the event, then there will be no entitlement to any refund.

this is because we will have had to confirm and in most cases had to pay for final numbers at the event and will have started performing our services.

5.3 It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the excel tekay to alter the content and timing of the pageant, and/or the date or the venue. in the unlikely event of the pageant being cancelled (as opposed to postponed), by excel tekay we will refund you the registration fee but to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any other costs or losses, whether direct or indirect. this does not affect your statutory rights. in addition to the fullest extent permitted by law we will not be liable to you for any losses (whether direct or indirect) based on reliance on any content at event.

5.4 Notwithstanding the other provisions in this contract our liability shall be limited to the booking fee and we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss. nothing within this contract shall be taken to exclude or limit our liability for death, personal injury, fraudulent misrepresentation or where such limitation of liability is otherwise not permitted by law.

6. Venue Rules

6.1 You will need to comply at all times with the rules and regulations imposed by the venue and may be excluded or removed from the pageant for failure to adhere to such requirements. you will also need to ensure that you have your own insurances against any loss to your property or any loss or damage you may cause at the pageant.

7. Waiver

7.1 If you breach these conditions and we take no immediate action, this will not be deemed a waiver of our rights and we will still be entitled to take further action at a later time.

8. Events beyond our reasonable control

8.1 Should Excel Tekay be unable to perform any obligations under this agreement due to causes or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to any act of god, war or threatened war, terrorism or threatened terrorism, fire, flood, drought, strike, lock out or actions of the venue, they will not be liable to you for any losses or claims arising from this.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of Texas and the sole jurisdiction of Texas courts.
